OTT Release: Shahid Kapoor’s film “Bloody Daddy” set to premiere on June 9th

Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming action-packed film “Bloody Daddy” is all set to release on June 9th, and will premiere exclusively on a popular OTT platform. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, known for his work in “Tiger Zinda Hai,” the film promises to be a stylised and relentless ride of action and thrills.

The announcement of the direct-to-digital release of the movie was made at an event hosted by Jio Studios called “Infinite Together,” where Jyoti Deshpande, the President of RIL Media and Content Business, revealed that the film is a special project that had a significant budget, and boasts the participation of a big actor and director.

During a press conference at the same event, Shahid Kapoor expressed his excitement for the film and his enjoyment of doing action sequences. He stated, “I had a great time doing an action film, I really enjoyed working with Ali. He understands the genre very well.”

Kapoor, who is known for his dance skills, also shared that his dancing experience helped him understand action choreography better. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, which affected the production and shooting of the film, Kapoor revealed that he managed to pick up the action sequences quickly and efficiently.

The makers of “Bloody Daddy” also unveiled a sneak peek of the movie during the event, which showcased the stylised and intense action sequences that the film promises to deliver. The film also stars Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, and Rajeev Khandelwal in pivotal roles.

With the ongoing pandemic situation, the direct-to-digital release of “Bloody Daddy” is a smart move by the producers, as it provides a safe and convenient way for audiences to enjoy the film from the comfort of their homes. However, the big-budget film’s release on an OTT platform raises questions about the future of movie-watching on the big screen.

Overall, “Bloody Daddy” looks like a promising action-packed thriller, and fans of Shahid Kapoor and Ali Abbas Zafar are eagerly awaiting its digital release.
